An investment banker turned executive coach and delighted. In 2006, I decided to embark on a coaching qualification accredited by the ICF. I chose the Newfield Network, in Colorado, USA because I appreciated thier approach to learning. I am now a certified Ontological coach and have recently launched my own business called Lime Trees Road Ltd
Fuelled by the question “why are so many disaffected at work? Tara embarked on a learning journey to understand the human condition from a leadership and coaching perspective. In particular she attended Newfield in Colorado to study ontological coaching. Newfield believes that we all live in interpretative worlds. Individuals live within a set of defined beliefs, attitudes and or paradigms which for them constitute reality. Sometimes these beliefs and ways of being can be extremely limiting and cause immense frustration and even suffering. The role of an ontological coach is to extend the individuals view of the world by providing distinctions and helping them notice how they show up and how they can be in choice. Tara applies ontological coaching in all of her coaching engagements. In January of 2009 she founded Lime Trees Road, an executive coaching company.
Thankfully Tara is no longer screaming for the best deals or judging people on their success in life (previous life as an FX Trader and Executive Search Consultant). Instead she has conversations with people, conversations where she provides a framework for their thinking without judgement and by extension helps unleash their own individual greatness in a professional setting.
Tara’s breadth of professional and cultural experience includes dealing with the human element within corporate companies including GE, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Bank, Standard Life, Pioneer Asset Management, Morgan Stanley, Bacardi, PWC, Zurich, and Pfizer as well as her years as a financial services consultant with Whitehead Mann a headhunting company. Tara has lived and worked in the US, London and the Cayman Islands having only recently returned to her home in Ireland. In addition to her master’s degree in business administration from Trinity College Dublin, Tara has studied and is certified in the sphere of professional and personal mastery with Newfield, recognised by the International Coaching Federation. She is an advocate and practitioner in Ashtanga yoga and meditation and believes in authentic leadership and creativity in business. Her style is provocative, demanding and fun.
Her mission is to extend some of the fantastic teachings she learnt at Newfield and provide an opportunity through her coaching for people to be conscious and in choice.
